The AmoyDx® HANDLE Breast Cancer NGS Panel, now available, is an NGS-based assay specifically designed to detect genetic alterations (SNVs, InDels) in the genes AKT1, ERBB2, ESR1, PIK3CA, and PTEN in breast cancer samples.
The panel uses an optimized HANDLE method from AmoyDx®, which achieves high sensitivity of up to 0.2% allele frequency in cfDNA through repeated probe hybridization steps and the use of UID (Unique IDentifier) sequences. The same fast and innovative protocol—consisting of only three steps—can also be used to analyze genomic DNA from FFPE material.
As with all AmoyDx® NGS panels, the sequence data is analyzed locally using the AmoyDx® NGS Data Analysis System (ANDAS).
