Reaching out to the antigen
The antibody should be characterized by a high specificity and affinity (binding ability) to its epitope and should not cross-react with other, similar epitopes. Non-specific reactions caused by endogenous enzymes can be prevented by appropriate blocking reagents
In addition to our well-known own brands Zytomed Systems and ZytoVision our current range includes tried and tested reagents from Diagnostic Biosystems, BioCare, Zeta Corporation. We continuously test new antibodies and detection systems in order to best meet the specific requirements of laboratories and the demands of scientific users. Most of the primary antibodies are available both as a concentrate and ready-to-use.
